2. Activating Your CapTechLab Account

Accounts need to be activated prior to usage.  Start by Navigating to http://password.captechlab.org/.

Step 1. 

Select the Activate Account button

Step 2.

Enter your CapTechU Email Address and select Activate. (Your CapTechU and CapTechLab usernames are the same, but the domain's are different [captechu.edu vs captechlab.org].  This can get confusing, so if you're unsure, make sure you read the Username solution article.)

Step 3.

Confirm Your Capitol Email Address.

Step 4.

Check your email Address, Copy the Code, and click the link.

Step 5.

Enter the code in the new tab.

Step 6.

Update Required Profile fields- Please confirm your First and Last Name, and your CapTechU Student ID, which are required.  Your Middle name and Mobile Number are optional details (In the future, the password portal may potentially support an SMS option for activation and recovery code delivery).
